Great bed side manners

Very satisfied with the service provided, excellent care provided.

My visit with Dr.Mandese & staff went well. My only complaint was my appointment was at 9:30a & I wasn't called back until almost an hour later. I don't know if that is the standard waiting time or just happened due to unforseen circumstances?

Dr. Mandese has always provided me with a very through exam and always makes time to explain any vision changes and answer all questions, I never feel rushed. I have gone to the Melbourne office since 2019 but recently visited the Palm Bay office and was very pleased. I had very little time in the waiting room and the front office staff was very friendly.

I was pleased with the friendly atmosphere, the care I received and the professionalism of all the staff. I did not like the long wait. It took me 11/2 hours to get all of my tests and results met. The office was far too cold. I wore a long sleeve shirt and a thick sweater and was still extremely cold.

Quickly fitted me in to be seen when I had an eye infection and called meds to treat. Dr Mandese was very kind and his assistant was very efficient. Definitely recommend them.

Dr Mandese and his staff were attentive and professional. He always takes time to ensure the patient understands what and why about their treatment.

My husband and I only needed plugs for dry eye, procedure that should have only taken about 5 minutes for both of us. We were there an hour and a half. This seems excessive. Seems like the practice should be able to streamline their operation.

Quick, efficient professional

My wife and I have been seeing (no play on words) Dr Darlington since we moved to this area in 2022. He has been an awesome Opthomoligst and perfectly performed cataract surgery, with prosthetic lens replacements, on both my wife and I. We are both seeing with 20/20 vision (first time in my life) and with NO reading glasses at 72 years old! I would highly recommend Dr Darlington and I thank him for his skilled hand!

Excellent testing that uncovered a long lasting problem. Dr Straut arranged for me to have a MRI at Holmes ER but l elected to not do it as l was not prepared to spend the night! This was a mistake on my part. I now will see Dr Velasco on Monday and then secure a MRI at University Imaging sometime next week.

Dr Straut administered an eye exam, gave me the results and removed several eye lashes from each lower lid that where growing into the eyeball and causing significant irritation. Overall, I was pleased with the treatment that I received from Dr Straut; however, the wait time between procedures seemed excessive.

I was concerned when I was told that I needed cataract surgery. My husband had his done first with Dr Darlington. The protocol is explained in detail at the beginning of the process, step by step. I was referred by my primary care for an eye exam because I have been experiencing blurry vision. I am far-sighted. Dr. Jason said I used electronics too much and was not blinking enough and recommended eye drops. This was terrible for me as I am a senior at Florida Tech and my daily work is important for me in order to graduate. It turns out I have a muscle dysfunction, which makes it harder for my eyes to always see at the same level, and I needed bifocals. Dr. Jason did not listen to me or give me the time of day I deserved as a patient.

I needed an eye exam since I failed the DMV test and I had an appointment with Dr. Stout gave me a complete exam twice to make sure that I was OK and then gave me proper paperwork which was required by the DMV which I thought was ridiculous. But he accommodated me and I am to see him shortly to pick up my paperwork to go get my eye test. I have a real drivers license again he’s been great.

Friendly and professional. Both the staff and the doctor took time to talk through my questions.

Dr. Darlington and his team made me feel safe and secure prior to my procedure. Everyone explained what they were doing. It was quick, painless and I was going home before I knew it. The staff called me within 2 hours to check on me! I would recommend Dr. Darlington and staff to anyone I know! My home instructions were clear and concise! I can't believe how bright everything is and I am wondering why did I wait this long!

The entire staff was great and made me feel welcome. Kim Miller did my initial exam and was very through, professional, and friendly. Dr. Straut was great. He explained what was going on with my eyes and provided options that would best fit my needs. He explained everything in lay terms so I could understand. I love this practice.

Excellent doctor he saw what appeared to be a problem but did not want to just assume,so he referred me to another practitioner that had better understanding of eye issue. I was very happy that he did that and not just go with assumptions. I will refer anyone to him.
